Leadoff single to center from Rendon. Simon not really fooling many people thus far. But he IS in there for his bat afterall. .500 for the season. Dangerous.

Well, they're already doing better than yesterday, offense-wise, so I suppose that's room for hope, if nothing else.
Can we sticky the "Scouts rave about Leake" ST thread?

Hit and run, ground out to Cozart...only play at first. 1 down, man at 2nd.
So....if Heisey get's DL'd....who comes up?
Fly out to Choo to end the inning. 6-1 after 5 full.

Thinking of the possible call-up, does it even have to be an OF'er? We've got 4 without Chris. If somebody at Louisville was tearing it up, I wouldn't hesitate, but there's nobody. I certainly don't want to bring up Hamilton with him scuffling.
I don't know anything about Felix Perez but he seems to be the most productive OF'er right now. Tough call IMO without anybody really standing out.
This is showing the difference between having your offense go cold while playing the Cubs, and having your offense go cold while playing a real team
CHOO! GONE! Make that 6-2.
Five more like that, and nothing more given up to the Nationals, and we win.
Line drive single by Cozart. Looking better.
