There like 12-4 at home, and like 1-8 on the road.
That's incredibly alarming to me, and is really indicating that there's some really fundamentally wrong with this team.

Jeez. Is that stat correct? That is a little horrifying if true.
They played fine on the road last year. They will be fine. I don't see them winning 60% at home but I suppose it is possible.
Geez..........The sky is falling, the sky is falling!...........It's called playing 3 good teams who all played good baseball.

Swing for homers.....not flying in DC.
FWIW, today was the 6th straight game our pitchers threw more pitches than their pitchers.

Over the last seven days (home and road) Reds have four position players with an OPS over .700. Choo, Paul, Votto, and Mesoraco. And Mes just makes the cut. Nobody else.
The others are all slumping. Some BAs over the last 7 days - Heisey .222; Bruce .148; Phillips .111; Frazier .087; Cozart .045.
My guess is that the home/road aspect is a bit of an early coincidence. I think when the Reds start hitting again the road numbers will normalize.
Hopefully it will happen before, say, August, LOL.
BTW, Paul's line in that seven day span is .385/.469/.462/.928. And he's not starting all the time against righties because why again?

May schedule should fix that: @Cubs, Marlins, Phillies, Mets, Indians.

Small sample size with a dash of upper level opponents. I think Blumj already pointed out the fix action for this.
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
