They can't send him down when Cueto comes back if he keeps pitching like this

    28 k's, 4 bb's in Tony's 3 starts. Yep, that'll do. ERA down to 1.50

Cingrani's ERA now at 1.50. I disagree with you guys who think he looks tired. He's still dealing after 110 pitches. That's impressive stuff. His last two outings, he's had 20 K's and only one BB. I love this guy. Now the bullpen needs to make sure he gets the W he earned.

Thinking the same thing. Heck put leak in LF, he'll look better than Paul did today.

I don't see any tailing action on Cingrani's change, but I'm wondering if that has to do with his arm angle.

The slurve looks pretty good, IMO.

Frazier with a lazy fly ball to Harper. 2 down for Bruce. Jay 2 for 3 today

Washington announcers were very impressed with Cingrani. They loved his "closer mentality" composure especially in the inning where the bases were jammed.

Cingrani's delivery is so smooth he doesn't look tired at all even after that many pitches. I think this guy could be the real deal.

Bruce flies out in foul ground. 1-2-3 go the reds.

What a gem thrown by Tony Cingrani!

Over 6 innings Cingrani's casualties casually climbed,
In his prime Cobb would have k'd, and probably multiple times!

Sorry to bring this back up, but the Reds have to find a way to keep this guy in the rotation. I can't think of a single legitimate reason not to, as long as he continues to pitch like he has.

You can't go with a 6 man rotation. The only thing they might do, if they decide to keep him up is make room in the BP for Leake (which might not be a bad idea).

But as impressive as Cingrani has been, I'm not ready to hand him a starting role on a permanent basis just yet.
