Same here. Probably my all time favorite play by any team.

That's one of those reinvent-the-game moments.

Espinoza shaved his head before the game the Washington announcers just said. Due to his recent struggles.

looked like strike 3 to me

Ground out to Phillips from Harper.

Looked back, yeah, that last pitch was outside. Looked good though.

Pretty sure Marty said earlier that Robinson is also banged up right now and that's why Paul is starting against the lefty.

You're right. I forgot about that. A rib cage injury of some sort. I read that yesterday...well, we can see how developed MY short term memory is. LOL.

Corky with a 2 hopper to third. Out by several plodding steps.

If not for a bad throw, he'd have made the 3rd out at 3B. I get that we're told to put pressue on the defense from the time we're little kids, and if it was a little leaguer or a high schooler in RF, I'd be pretty cool with making them make the throw, but a major league RF should be able to make that play most of the time. A good throw and it's not even close. He'd have been out by 10 feet. It worked out, but it wasn't smart. Not a fan of making a play where all the opposition has to do is make a normal play to record the out. It's like saying a weak ground ball to 2B is a good PA because they made the opposition make the play.

I'd have scored that throw an error on the RF it was so poor.

I hate making outs on the bases more than any other single thing a team can do on a baseball diamond. It's worse than walking the pitcher IMO.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Corky will not be here long, why not start breaking Cingrani in with another catcher now.

This is 2nd start this series, for the love of god as much as I like Corky he can not be allowed to play more than 20% of the time.

He is a black hole in the lineup and he has to be the slowest runner in baseball history

MLB hit #1 for Cingrani! It hit the 3rd base bag and then straight up in the air. :O) Congrats Tony!
