I'm a little worried about his velocity, but he's certainly getting the job done. He did hit 94 a few times tonight for what it's worth.

Still strange they took him out after 91 pitches, hope he's okay.

Choo grounds out to short. Surprisingly, Choate got a call on the black.
Cozart flies out to left. 2 down.

Votto stings ANOTHER one. Holliday makes a nice effort but can't come up with it. Single. Lucky for the cards it wasn't extra bases. That could've easily shot past Holliday.

    Pitching change. Rosenthal in.

Exactly. He made a nice effort...but it was risky the way he played it.

Been thinking about starting a "wassup with Votto's slump?" thread but he keeps hitting and getting on base.

1 pitch popup for Phillips to end the inning. Better pull Rosenthal....he's GOT to be winded after that. :O)

    That hasn't deterred anyone yet.

Six big outs to go. I'm assuming Broxton is coming in?

Craig with a leadoff double into the RF corner. Off of Broxton btw.

Good pitch too. Just better hitting there.
