He learned a split finger fast ball that has been effective. Another thing St. Louis does and has done since the ownership took over in the mid-90's is putting their pitchers in positions to where they can be successful. The Marlins used him completely wrong.

I thought he had the split prior to coming to the fifth gate of hell....umm...I mean St. Louis. Sorry, I always get those 2 confused. *grin*

Love the pitching the offense is difficult to watch at the moment...outside of Choo and Philips...occasionally Votto. I hope they can crank it up soon because game after game they are wasting great starting pitching.
