Defense flashing the leather that inning. Nice stab by Bronson. They made those plays look routine....they weren't.

There's nothing I like more than a team that plays excellent defense. It's BY FAR the most enjoyable part of the game for me. Always has been.

You have to love Votto even if you aren't a reds fan.

Ok, I agree, but against a lefty pitcher Cozart should be capable of hitting a couple of solid shots. He's hit weak grounders with men in scoring position, twice this game.

Even as the eighth hitter I'd expect more.

Arroyo breezing in a very economical manner. 50 pitches in five innings. Nice.

Asking for an Arroyo shut out is a tall order. Sorry, Reds, hate to break up the pattern, but you need to add runs this game.

I haven't seen Votto show this much emotion before. All year long he's been like this. Slammed that bat down halfway to 1st.

Love the high socks look on Votto too btw. I miss the stirrups look though.

Single up the middle for Phillips.

Well, earlier in the season he was showing power. I think he has four homers. Lately, though, he isn't hitting well.

Remember that bunt a week ago when the pitched ball struck Zack's fingers? Wonder if it's still bothering him.

Meanwhile, where was Phillips going there.

WOW. Great angle. They DID miss the tag. Completely whiffed.

I didn't think there was ANY doubt that they tagged him. Fantastic camera work.
