...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
Jay grounds out to Phillips. 1 down.

Lutz wearing #23, previously worn by Reds luminaries like Jason LaRue, Corey Patterson, Adam Rosales, and Yonder Alonso.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Guy is only human. Verducci wrote an article about it. Lots of criticism that he isn't being paid a fortune to walk. Team wasn't scoring that much.
I'm guessing all this has impacted Joey. Probably he's also trying to single handedly get the offense going and figures walks won't do that.
Personally, I hate for Votto to become overanxious at the plate. Hope he remains selective.
Lance Lynn lost 40 pounds? He is still large.
