Reds may get back-to-back days off, 80% chance of rain at Wrigley on Friday.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Ondru the Giant thought about fielding the bat and throwing it to first.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Throwing bats at our pitchers --- 10 game suspension!

At some point, Cozart is going to hit, let's hope it is this inning.

The two best starting staffs have been dealing and the bats on both teams are scuffling. I think "fire Dusty and the hitting coach" should extend to "fire Matheny and the hitting coach," right?

Bad, bad swings. I know hitting a baseball is hard, but lately the choices are:

    a) slow grounder
    b) popup to shallow OF
    c) swing and miss

Choo and Cozy just got b and c.
    No one expects the butterfly

I don't buy the day game after night game theory. You don't see Molina sitting.
I agree, Corky has gotten way too much playing time.
I can see giving Corky some starts.. but it seems like this is his 5th start now?
Maybe I'm counting wrong, but it doesn't seem as if Mez needs that much rest, considering Mez got tons of rest when Hannigan was healthy.

I can actually see letting Lutz get a start.. Why not? It's not as if we have any great options in LF.. You have the guy up here, might as well take a look at him, even though he's probably going to be overmatched by Lynn. (Doubt any of the other LF would do much better)
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Wow, a rare stop to the game thread will be even rarer.

Wow this offense needs a day off real bad. I really hope that's all it is because this is getting embarrassing to watch.

It will be a real shame to see yet another solid pitching outing wasted by an offense that seems to be in a coma.

Lutz ranged on that pop fly. Nice.
