Strike zone expanding, forces Choo to swing at one out of the zone and he goes down on strikes for the third time.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Choo - 3/4 of the way to the Sombrero

The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

If you wanna test Holliday, fine. I would think you would know better than to test Beltran. Beltran has been passing that test for years.

Welsh on Bailey challenging Beltran's arm: "I like that."

Over the last 7 games, the Reds have the lowest OPS in the major leagues, .514.

Either you attack the problem or you don't.

Is it life or death? No. But as a Reds fan I expect them to do better than this.

So we have Lutz, Corky Miller, and a pitcher hitting today at the bottom of the order.

How long do we tread water before it is too late to address the offensive woes?

This guy is calling strikes a good 2-3 inches off the plate.

He stays awake at night worrying about how many runs the team will score for him.
