I posted this in the minor league forum but for those that don't go there, both of his starts will on MILBTV. So you can watch him there if you subscribe. I think its $40 for the entire season. I got a half price special a while back because I had subscribed to MLBTV. I don't know if they are still offering that but it would be worth a try.

Just read per rotoworld that his start was scratched due to "soreness"

    Did Brantley write that?

Ugh. Sounds like he wasn't as ready as everyone thought.

It's a good thing that his start was scratched. Better to NOT rush him so he's 100% when he comes back. That'll also give more time to evaluate the Leake/Cingrani decision. The offense is a bigger concern right now anyway.

Jim Day said it was soreness in his oblique, same injury he had in the playoffs.

I must say that I thought the original plan of him pitching tonight with a trip to the Doc yesterday seemed a little odd.

We were very fortunate with injuries last year. This year? Not so much.

Someone might have already brought this up -- but do people think that these oblique injuries recently might be due to Cueto's new Marichal-esque delivery? If so, it seems like it might be a very effective and yet not sustainable strategy for him.

I can't help but think that's exactly what it is.

It may be part of how good he's been, but if he can't stay on the field what's the point? I'm only guessing though.

Luis Tiant is the one you're looking for. Marichal used to point his leg straight up.

Fay tweeted that Cueto is throwing a bullpen today. This is a sign of good news, right?

Certainly better news than him not throwing one, I would assume.
