That's not what I'm saying and I think you know that. Lots of guys struggle with control....but a manager doesn't put them in the game assuming he's not going to be able to throw a strike. Guys who are wild don't ONLY throw non-strikes. If he couldn't hit the strike zone, he wouldn't be in the bigs. Just like Marmol, he melts down like he did today, but he also teases when he's in the zone and is virtually unhittable.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Borbon hit the weights between innings. He got that one back to the infield. :O)

I'd rather just let Broxton go 2 IMO.

Not due to Chapman's performance yesterday...just due to the # of pitches he threw.

Not the way Dusty's play book reads.

Well, there is the idea that you want to get him right back on the horse right away, so there IS that argument too. I'd prefer to err on the side of not overworking the arm back to back.
