4-2 in the third is "struggling"?

Sometimes I think some guys on here are following the wrong sport.

Some really good swings off Cingrani that inning. Deep fly out to center from Castro.

Simply put, he's GOT to mix in his other pitches more. They're sitting fastball. The pitches to Soriano that ab were both changeups...I don't recall seeing him throw that pitch before. It was fat to be sure, but anybody know if it's a good pitch for him normally? I like his slider, he needs to work on it's control, but it's got a nice break.

Hard to imagine how they won 97 games last year when they seemingly beat no one?

They've struggled against the Cubs in all five games they've played them. They struggled in two of four vs the Marlins. Were swept in Pittsburgh, including blowing a 5-0 lead. I'm hoping this is a repeat of 2012, getting off to the slow start and then heating up. Right now though, this team isn't very good.

Will need to score more than our average today. Better get hot now.

a "bad" outing from a rookie send him down...

he had some bad pitches the last outings aswell, but he had more "luck"... he´s a rookie with small experience at aaa level...

we will have some fun with this guy in the future...

Even the best pitchers in the league get knocked around, I think Cingrani can learn quite a bit from this. But more importantly, we need to score more runs and win today!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

So you have the division leaders down as a "not good" team, but you bemoan the Reds who are arguably well constructed and 1.5 games out of the WC and division lead as "not good" too. Who is good?

Hit and run with Corky. Mildly surprising.

Both pitchers have thrown a lot of pitches today. Samardzija already up to 75

Miller grounds into a 4-6-3 DP. 4-2 Cubs mid 4th.
