Offense breaking through with four consecutive base hits.

Some people overreact to his number of K's and ignore what else he's doing.

Crow is tasty...Every time I get on here and trash someone they end up doing something good..reverse psychology I guess.

Speaking of our earlier discussion of Frazier being better than his BA shows . . . .

No, I think many people ARE reacting to "what else he's doing" which hasn't been much.

He does well at home, Bruce, hopefully we're about to have a nice hitting streak for him.

He's gone the other way a LOT more than previous years, but those doubles must've been spaced out pretty well over the season thus far. I certainly can't recall a string of them for Jay.

Todd at third after the passed ball and ground out to 2nd by Paul.

XPaul with a "productive out." He's quite a sound hitter, albeit not spectacular. Walks, moves the runner, gets the singles and doubles.

    Ok Mes, another opportunity.

Mes fans on ball four in the dirt. Jackson with a tough pitch fooled him.

That was truly ugly. Ball 4 for sure and he chased it.

Darn. Had a chance there. Rizzo scoops the poor throw to first by Navarro.

Yeah, but don't underestimate Jackson, he's a tough customer. The pitch did sink downward.

Still, Mes with two non-productive at bats with men on base in this game. Disappointing.

    3-0 bottom four.

He got another hanging slider earlier in the AB and fouled it off. Gotta punish the mistake pitches.

Mes isn't quite there yet. He has some nice peripherals, but he seems to think too much up there.

May be a confidence thing. Still, it's been good for him to get this opportunity.

Too soon to really worry about him.

It's easy to forget how hard it is to square up a baseball with a round bat. Fat pitch or not.
