Cubs gonna Cub
Speier gives the "don't ground into a double play" sign
Lucky there. Choo steals 2nd...the throw beat him easily though. Kicked away from Castro and Choo heads to third.
Choo looked back on the steal too....hit and run?
Sac fly for Cozy. 4-0 Reds.
Votto is good at baseball.
2 things. Homer has said previously how frustrated he is playing in GABP. It's also well known how much he loves the south. I think the ace in the hole for us is the fact that he's really growing up under the tutelage of Price. Maybe that'll help the Reds.
As for Choo...Boras. I think it's pretty clear that he wants Choo to test the market. If it's a bidding war, the Reds lose.
Again, I hope like crazy that I'm wrong. But if it comes to a choice between the 2, I always lean towards the pitcher.
Votto started off the season mastering the walk. Then he moved on to mastering the single. Now he's in the process of mastering the double.
Billy Hamilton's Legs (05-05-2013)
Votto now 14-38 on the road trip.
