Bad break there. Ball got stuck at the base of the wall. Uggla turns it into a triple.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Uggla with a 3 bagger. More trouble for Arroyo

Maybe with no outs, IMO you don't give away an out to go to 2 outs, I like my chances better with the pitcher swinging away (unless its Aaron Harang) than a runner on 2nd with 2 away already.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

It might be conventional, but that doesn't make it the smart thing to do necessarily.

I think this has to be a minority view. I agree that bunting with a position player in that spot is a mistake.

But with Arroyo up, you have to bunt. Choo doesn't hit lefties that well but the best play there is to let Choo hit with a man on second.

Now a fielding miscue. This is a disaster so far.

    Blown call.

Curious decision, even though I think he was out.

This is getting ugly fast. Bunt in front of the plate. Mesoraco throws it to Cozart. They call him off the base but that is a missed call.
