No, you were. I got it. Just pointing out how important it just might be.

Mes k's on one at eye level.

Up to Hannahan. Time for a 2 run shot that's worth 6 runs. They give those out, right?

I think people need to take note of, and not just mock, the prescience of this post....

I will go on the record, way out on a limb, and say even if does not work out, I am in favor of Dusty's move to pinch hit for Simon.

2 outs, 2 strikes, bottom of 9th. This is the time we do our most damage.

    Or not. K. Ballgame.

The team is floundering, good enough to beat the weak teams, struggling against the contenders. But what should we expect? The injury bug has hit early and often, our cleanup hitter is injured, and two key guys are not carrying their full load just yet (Votto and Bruce). I hate losing a series at home, but 3 over all things considered is about right.

I did this in 2011. Did not watch or pay attention to any games for 2 weeks in the middle of May or June.....and when I checked out Baseball Reference to just look everything over.....the team was fading already.
I came back here and it was bad luck this, BABIP that...the Cardinals cannot sustain this and the Brewers are lucky that.

It just looks bad because of the players they traded are looking better than who they kept....but that does not mean I disagree with any of the deals (Except for having to add Mini Me to the Marshall trade)...as they needed to get done for what they got back. However....like I said yesterday the lack of hitting development up/down the majors into the deep minor leagues says that Your developmental people are not doing their job quiet as well as they should or maybe they just drafted all the wrong hitters.

The 2011 season was due to lack of pitching, which is now a strength. This is a much better overall team than 2011, so probably too early to peg it as a parallel.

This is basically a .500-ish team and I don't see much evidence to make me think it will change. They've scored 2 runs or less in almost half their games. Not a good sign.
