You might want to watch a replay Raisor. It was closer than you think. Yes the throw beat him, but it was by a step...maybe a step and a half. Add in a very nice slide and it was close.

Hindsight is 20/20. I like the decision to send Phillips. Gattis has been a butcher in left all series. No way would anyone have anticipated a throw like that.

You may say it is semantics, but I don't think it's fair to get a free pass on a statement like that. It was a loaded remark...implying Leake was dumb there. Sorry, but expect pushback on a remark like that.

Just watched the Gattis replay. I woulda sent him too. Gattis just happens to have a cannon. Helluva throw.

Miller also had a long drive last night.

But I think basing decisions on one previous AB vs. a lifetime of information will likely result in lesser results.

When Phillips was tagged he was on the chalk at the front of the batters box. That's not close in my opinion.

Good decision by Leake to keep that one foul.
