I'm not sure if I agree this time. Brand new left fielder out there, took a great throw to get him. They got a great throw.

Correct me if I am incorrect, but that seems like a comment there?

Just this series we are nailed at home in a bad decision to run and picked off first late in the game.

I don't know if I'd chanced running Phillips there. I'd put the pressure on Minor for a K or short fly. Minor wasn't hitting many spots.

I'm torn on it either way - it's what, Gattis' 3rd game ever in LF, and running puts the pressure on the D.

Wow, great play by Leake off the bunt. Dude is a heck of an athlete.

Nice play by Leake there to get the lead runner.

I agree with you. You have to try Phillips to score on that play. It took a good throw to get him and that's exactly what it was.

He was out by a mile.

Minor bunts into force out and then Shaffer singles.

Results show it wasn't plenty deep. I guess it's just a matter of opinion. With nobody out I think you don't go there.

Why is the fact that last nights here coming to the plate have anything to do with it? Mes is still Mes, last night didn't magically change him.

This has nothing to do with the game, but I've been watching my postcount after all my posts today and it's stuck on 96.

Not a bad decision. New outfielder. IMO anytime it takes an absolutely fantastic throw to get a guy out, you made the right choice in sending him. Putting pressure on a defense is a GOOD thing.

    Game thread doesn't count.
