After one in Bakersfield there is no score. San Jose is visiting. James Allen with a 1-2-3 first. After a scoreless second, Allen is watching the wheels come off in the third. Double, home run, walk and single. Two runs in. Two runners on. Another walk loads them up but a fly ball ends the threat.
Blaze trail 2-0 in the middle of the third.
Bakersfield bounces back with a run in the home half of the inning. Double by Juan Perez and singles by Juan Silverio and Dominic D'Anna.
That run would turn out to be the highlight of the evening for the Blaze. San Jose relentlessly pulls away to a 6-1 victory.

Bats win 6-3 thanks in part to Ryan Hanigan....2 for 4 (2 singles), 2 rbi's and 1 run scored.

Miller time is coming to a close it would seem.

Hensley a scoreless eighth. Whalen a solo shot and nothing else in the ninth. Bats win 6-3.

Two hits apiece for Rodriguez, Soto, Perez, Burriss and Hanigan. Fellhauer, Negron and Reynolds with single safeties.

A hitting Hanigan would help immensely when he returns.
