What's going on with him? I thought it was something minor and he'd be pitching by now. Are you guys hearing anything? He was very impressive last year and you know we've had great luck with third-round pitching prospects out of the college ranks in recent years. Cingrani of course. But also Zach Stewart (main piece in the Rolen trade) and Donnie Joseph (main piece in the Broxton trade).
Langfield seemed like a steal too. I hope he's OK.
I read he was being put in extended spring training originally due to tightness in his shoulder. How long a rehab that is I have no idea.
