    Bowling

Ok, baseball threads only...I get it!

However...... I'm in a charity golf tournament next week in Portland with a lot of sports celebs.

It includes a bowling event on Friday......which I couldn't wait to get out of.

That is, until I heard the celeb that we drew was a guy named

    Ken
    Griffey
    Junior

Baseball is like church. Many attend, few understand

Better make sure your clubhouse doesn't have a massage chair.

    Very cool!!
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Be sure to speak better than I did the one time I had a chance to talk with him. I couldn't find words for a while. It was like I was a teenage girl meeting Justin Timberlake minus the crying and screaming.

I don't know; I think a teenage girl meeting Justin Timberlake would likely be crying and screaming too.

    Oh wait...you mean....

Tell the truth Doug...crying and screaming WAS included. :O)

And VR...that's beyond awesome. Be sure to ask him if he ever bowled with Phillips. From what I've read, Brandon is REALLY good.

That's awesome. Be sure to report on it back here afterwards.

Too bad it wasn't Brandon Phillips, he's a great bowler, I believe he has a few perfect games under his belt.

Uncontrollable nervous shaking of my body was included, that is for sure. I met him when I was at Dr. Kremchek's office for my check up right after knee surgery. I have the nervous shakes for about 20 minutes after he left. I know, I know.... messed up.

I'd like to see Jr. bowl against BP, who has three perfect games under his belt.
