On the other thread, it was mentioned that Hamilton and Chapman would get the Rangers to the table. Someone added Corcino. And then someone else said it would probably take Hamilton, Chapman and Stephenson.
Would you do that deal?

No. To give up that much I want a proven major leaguer. Profar may be better than sliced bread someday but right now he's an unproven rookie. To give up that much I want someone like Stanton in return.

Sorry, one of the worst trade propositions I've ever seen.
Suggesting that the upgrade from Cozart to Profar is worth those three is insane.

For the record, I'm polling someone else's proposal. I voted no also.
Other proposals were that it would take Hamilton and Chapman just to get them to the table, and Corcino would probably need to be added. Another person said they'd have to add Stephenson instead of Corcino.
I agree. I think it's a bit insane.
The mobile version of RZ doesn't seem to show polls. But man... my response is a resounding NO!

Sure I would do it.

Ok, Profar isn't going anywhere. Kinsler is likely moving to the OF or 1B next year. They can let Profar develop at AAA because he's only 20 years old. Plus The rangers are doing quite well without him. With Kinsler on the DL, he gets a bit more experience at the MLB level.
They ain't moving him, simply because there is no reason to do so.

Echoing the others - no way.
Chapman and Hamilton or Hamilton and Stephenson, maybe, but probably not.
All three? No chance.
I'd offer any one of those guys + 1-2 other minor leaguers, holding back Winker and Cingrani as well. Other than that, I let the Rangers move Profar to the OF, and focus my efforts on acquiring Stanton or Rios.
