Ground ball hit back up the middle, over the bag. BP caught the ball barehanded with his knee on the bag, then threw Braun out from his knees.

Hard to believe, 5 posters describe it, all the same.

    That pretty much never happens.

Ooooo tough one. Choo is doing exactly what he was signed to do. Seems the club is asking more of Phillips.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

I think that in a year or two, one of these guys - Frazier, Dorn, Valaika, Cumberland, Stubbs - will be ready to replace Dunn. They won't hit as many home runs as Dunn, but they should have similar OPS. - 757690, July 22, 2008

Alonso will be playing 1B for the REDS and batting 4th one year from today. - Kingspoint, July 9, 2009

don't count on it, there's 2 NBA playoff games, and one has LeBron, so they'll only have 5 or so minutes to fill with other things.
    Is it "next season" yet?

Not just a web gem, but one of, if not the best play of the year. It was that good.

It's hard to believe how close Phillips is to passing Little Joe. Really surprising to see that.

Yep. That snag in center against us a few weeks back was pretty amazing, but this one would've bumped it for sure. (no clue what knocked that off the top)
