Not bad, not great, two solo shots back to back, and pitch count was getting up there

    Thanks.

Suppose he was due for a tough time - happens to every pitcher.

Hanny is having himself a night. :O)

What was that. Why would Simon be sent to bat. He is at nearly 50 pitches. Just handed out an out there.

Ridiculous managing. Im sorry. Let Bronson or Leake bunt.

It's the 6th inning...why devastate the bullpen for one game? He can go multiple innings. 3 is pushing him a bit, but he can handle it. 44 pitches, 31 strikes.

Actually, the bunt play isn't that great there altogether. Hanigan is very slow and is an easy target at second base.

I don't think that move made any sense.

You could use Derrick Robinson there and come in with Lecure, who is in the pen.

    Agree.

They had an off day yesterday, and they have another on Monday. I wouldn't be worried about bullpen usage this weekend.

I think 40 pitches for him is plenty coming off an off day. Go Marshall, Broxton, Chapman. Izturis is on the team might as well use him for bunting guys over.

Isnt this the Marshall/Broxton/Chapman three innings coming up?

And Lecure is throwing now in the pen.

    So????

Simon is at nearly 50 pitches and isnt exactly mowing people down tonight.
