LOL. That would be freaking hilarious...and you know what, it also might work. He might be so shocked by it that he stops overthinking and goes back to throwing.

He's not quite topping out at 94 or 95 like normal. Just doesn't have his usual stuff tonight.

I hate the "2 Strike" clap... sounds like encouragement to opposing batters... :P

Who calls the games Hanigan or Dusty?

I know Dusty was calling the games when Corky was catching, he would look in the dugout for each pitch

I really don't think 94-95 is "normal" for him. I think he gets pumped with adrenaline in tight situations and pumps it up some. He's normally around 92'ish.

I would not be afraid to walk Weeks. He kills the Reds, wouldn't groove one.

I hate when pitchers are afraid to walk guys in spots like this.

Both. Initial pitch call is Dusty, if pitcher shakes him off...then it's in Hanny's hands (or Mesoraco's etc).

Yup. It's the legacy of the Bowden/Allen era. No matter how good things get, all we have to do is look at that right center field area to be reminded of those buffoons.

I think you're right. Maybe just some wishful thinking on my part
