RIP Ray. The Doors were always a favorite for their odd and interesting musical styles.

The Doors was my first musical love and introduced me to what the art form was truly capable of. Jim Morrison was the poet and star but Ray *was* The Doors

Only successful Rock band I know of that didn't have a bass player. Ray would use the low end of the keyboard to play the bass line. Made for a very trippy sound.
