Minor League Updates - Monday 5/13

I don't usually do these updates, but thought I would mention some things.

Heisey didn't take his turn at bat in the first inning of the AA game. They pinch hit for him.

Manny Parra is pitching that game, struck out two in the first inning. That's all for him tonite.

    Tucker Barnhart is hitting .299.

Billy Hamilton has two hits and a steal tonight. Soto three hits for Louisville.

Stephenson having a big game so far tonight. 7Ks through five shutout innings.

Hamilton's first hit was an infield affair. After the steal, he went to third on the throw and scored on a grounder.

Pensacola scored three in the first, two of them on the single by Barnhart that put him at .299.

Any updates on Heisey? I assuming he must have reinjured himself in BP.

In racing to make a shoestring catch in center field to end the first inning, Heisey was affected enough not to chance any more action.Team trainer Charles Leddon joined Heisey in the clubhouse training room.“I don’t think he re-aggravated it, but I just didn’t like the way he was moving and there is no reason to push that,” said Blue Wahoos manager Delino DeShields. “We are going to be as careful as we can with him.“He probably won’t play (tonight) and we’ll see how it goes from there.”
