I actually liked that move. 125 pitches really isn't much, to be honest.

These past 2 years, his delivery is just so smooth and easy. Just a joy to watch.

I don't agree with letting him stay in...but this is Verlander-esque.

Don't agree: Homer thrives on work, always has.

He keeps throwing the heat and the batter keeps fouling it off.

I agree. Mechanics good? If so and he is throwing free and easy...he can do it. Just watch him his next start and try to not let him go more than 90-100 pitches.

He's tied his career high in K's again with 10. Love to see him break it here.

glad he got the complete game but that was way to many pitches in a 6-2 game.

Wow. Sorry this post lacks depth.

Been a Bailey fan since day 1. Heck, my sig has said this looking ago. Also I've had a few whiskeys.

    Wow.

100 pitches are not the same for every pitcher. Homer is a big, strong guy and his delivery is unbelievably smooth and easy....125 pitches is NOT overworking him. Not at all.

He has always gotten stronger as he goes deeper in a game. His velocity is a testament to that.
