Homer Bailey stays in. Complete game, possibly?
A complete game would be a great blast from the past.

A day after some mock the Cards for letting Lynn throw 124 pitches.

Who will stop this madness?
Homer looks kind of tired but he's still bringing it at 95mph. He can do it.
"This field, this game, is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and what could be again." -- Terence Mann
Wow. Pitch 115 at 95mph? Homer is finally getting there, huh?
And for the record, if Bailey isn't losing his form, I'm cool with this pitch count.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
KKKKKKKKKK
I'm way more lenient on abiding by pitch counts on here than most. But up 4 against the Marlins? You save the arm here.
You do NOT have to baby this arm....Homer is a HORSE. Ride 'em!
95 fb, 90 cutter, 96 and 95 fb in the 9th with over 100 pitches, and with location? Gosh I've enjoyed watching Homer progress.
97 mph in the 9th?
