West Michigan is visiting Dayton. Dragons lead 2-1 after 2 full.

Ismael Guillon gave up a run on a single, wild pitch and double. Dragons struck back for two in the bottom of the first. Walks to Amaral and Gelalich combined with a wild pitch put two runners in scoring position. Winker grounded out to bring one home. Seth Mejias-Brean singled in the other.

West Michigan takes the lead in the third. Walk, home run, walk and wild pitch. WM leads 3-2 with a runner in scoring position. In 2.2 IP, Guillon has walked three and thrown two wild pitches.
Wasted opportunity in the bottom of the third. Gelalich reached on an error, stole second and third. Winker and Mejias-Brean both walked to lead them up. Arias bounced into a double play. Dragons then break through in the bottom of the fourth. HBP, single Ramirez, sac bunt and ground out.

    Game tied 3-3 heading into the sixth. Joey Housey taking over pitching duties. Guillon: 5IP 5H 3R 3ER 5BB 5K 1HR 3WP.
Joey Housey with a rough outing, allowing four runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh. Dragons now trail 11-3. And it ended up with
Dayton on the short end of an 11-3 drubbing. Wendy Peralta struck out three in his inning of work as did Ben Klimesh.

Mejias-Brean reached three times on two singles and a walk.
Robert Ramirez also reached three times with a single a walk and an HBP.

West Michigan 11 Dayton 3. The Dragons fall to 13-25 on the season.

Pensacola is home tonight against Chattanooga. They currently lead 2-1 in the fourth.

Josh Smith is continuing his fine pitching. He has given up one run in four innings, striking out three.
Solo homers by Mather (1) and Smith (4) have provided the offense.

Josh Smith with another effective outing: 6IP 7H 1R 1ER 2BB 4K. After a shaky first starts, Smith has really turned it around. His numbers over his last six starts: 34IP 23H 6R 6ER 10BB 34K 1HR 1.59 ERA. Cannot have too much pitching depth.

Wilkin De La Rosa coughs up in the lead in the top of the eighth by allowing two runs. Wahoos trail 3-2 heading into the home half of the eighth. Mike Gilmartin walks and later singles by Bryson Smith - second hit of the game - and Mather - third hit of the game - push across a run.
Knotted at three going into the ninth.

Bakersfield has traveled to Stockton and it seems as if they forgot to take their lumber with them. It is early but Blaze batters have gone six up and six down.

Carlos Contreras is pitching tonight for Bakersfield and has allowed just one baserunner (a single) through two, while striking out four.

No score heading into the third.

Bryson Smith leads off 10th with a single. He's now 3-5 with a HR. Brodie Greene HBP while trying to bunt, exits game with foot injury. Ryan LaMarre hits a hard bouncer down the RF line for a Walk Off Wahoos Win. That's a WOWW!

Carlos Contreras was outstanding in a losing effort last night, allowing just three baserunners all night. 6IP 2H 1R 0ER 1BB 9K.
Mike Dennhardt pitched the final two innings giving up just one hit, while walking nobody and striking out a pair. Unfortunately, that hit was a solo home run which won the game for Stockton.
Juan Duran provided the offense for Bakersfield, going 2 for 3 with a solo jack.

    Stockton 2 Bakersfield 1.

Nope. But now that you mention it, I see what you mean. Good pickup.
