Wonder what's up with Brox. Something is off.
You may be right. It's puzzling to say the least. Have the Reds used the trio of Marshall-Broxton-Chapman in any game this season?
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Brox obviously wasn't available last night or this. He would normally have been in one or both of these games. Don't know why.

Change of scenery might do him good. He seems like a good dude, but it's just not working. I wouldn't mind Walter giving him the old "Its not you.. its me... actually its definitely you."

Frazier is 0 for 5 tonight, BA down to .221.

    Matter of concern.

Overall yes. But tonight he put decent wood on the ball. At minimum deserved one hit.

I wonder, too. Gotta be something. Maybe Dusty will say something after the game if the Cincy reporters have the guts to ask.

Welch speculates that Brox is being rested because he will likely close tomorrow. Chappy has pitched two in a row.

He also says Hoover was already throwing so why not use him. Not sure about that one, Dusty switches off relievers all the time.

    That's his explanation.

You do need a RH bat off the bench though....so it is more of ...do you want to keep Lutz or paul?
