Getting an out would not have mattered?

Exactly. We can still PH for Derrick. But the move Dusty did allowed the best defense to stay in for now.

Without a 9th inning miracle, it looks like we'll lose the game we picked up on the Cards yesterday.

Ryan Howard's speed made that inning happen.

To be fair...that was a VERY tough play to call. Inches either way and dust covering it up. Even replay would be hard pressed to overturn that one.

True. The problem was the walk, which was unnecessary. The dink just one of those thins, but the HPB and the walk was pitcher failure IMHO. It happens, and the second run was not that important.

Brewers are working their way into it. That's no sure-fire Cards win. And after a Paul BB, this won't be a "miracle" either.

Hanigan gets screwed on strike 1 after arguing close play at plate.

    Really professional.

Payback to Hanny for arguing with the ump? Looked high to me.

Phils catcher is moving his glove back over the plate after the catch, and getting strikes.

Shocked that Xavier Paul was allowed to walk. It meant calling four balls on a Reds hitter.

Next time Hanigan should block the plate with his car. Maybe they'll give him that call.
