    I was a student in Charles Alexander's "History of Baseball" course at Ohio University in 1991. It was an outstanding class!

    I should probably pick up that book.

    I picked up a signed copy od Pennant Race a few years ago to resell, but haven't had any luck with that. It's a rear read as was his other book, but its title is alluding me.

    Other one was The Long Season, which has some Mayo Smith in it... Mayo also appeared in Bill Freehan's Behind the Mask for the baseball diary two-fer
