Young grounds into a 5-4-3 DP.

If I didn't know any better I'd think Todd was one of the best fielding 3B in the game.

Nice. Frazier clean on the short hop.

I'd have Sam and Marshall ready.

He's fifth best this year according to UZR.

Utley steals 2nd and goes to 3rd on a Hanigan throwing error

Brantley spot on with those throws by Hanny. That move towards 3rd base is what caused the errant throws. I know it was a pitchout, but he didn't plant himself as he threw, he was drifting and so did the ball.

Nice job Homer. IMO this is one of his best outings. He clearly doesn't have his best stuff, but he's battling and really doing a great job of working out of trouble and escaping damage. 3 years ago, he'd be out of the game already and we'd be losing by a considerable amount. His development the past 2 years is a pleasure to witness.

3B is pretty secure defensively with Frazier and Hannahan.

Rolen would not have been an upgrade.

Let us hope that Price advises the need for the bullpen to be up and throwing and ready to start the next inning.

I don't think Dusty needs the heads up for that. I'd let Homer go back out for the 7th, but I'd be warming someone up. One man reaches, bring out the hook.
