Solid inning for Broxton. One bloop is all.

Valdespin is not the man now.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Not bad company.
Cesar Cedeño...that was someone I was trying to think of when this conversation started. VERY good comp for Pinson. (On the field, at least. Definitely NOT in terms of off-field citizenship!)

The bullpen is back. The last week with Broxton and Maeshall allowing 4 runs in 6 innings, I was worried. Now if Ca
Gap an can do as well

    Both were very fast, though.
Yes, I agree. It's amazing how few steals those fast guys had who played in the late 50's and 60's. Curt Flood had less than 100 steals in 12+ years.

Vada was my favorite player growing up -- he was why I played CF mostly -- why I learned to switch hit so I could hit from the left side --- why I was a Reds fan
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

That would've been out of many parks I think.
