The hurricanes and tornados need to stop. Too many people get hurt and too many homes get destroyed.
What we need is a nationwide hail storm. No one gets hurt. Everyone gets new roofs, and I make some extra money.
It's a win win.
Win win? My family lived in Germantown, OH in 1974 when the big tornado hit Xenia. We didn't get tornadoes in Germantown, but we got huge hail. Big enough that it knocked a friend of mine down and cut his head when it suddenly started while we were in our yard watching the storm movement. The entire sky was purple and it wasn't even raining, then BOOM ... large hail started pouring down. We kept one the size of a baseball in our freezer for a year or so. Crazy stuff.
"I talked to an advance scout that told me if Joey Votto and Albert Pujols were on the same team he'd advise his team to do the unthinkable...pitch around Votto to get to Pujols." - Buster Olney, ESPN
