It really doesn't have to take us all into the sinkhole.

The best way to respond to a thread like that is with humor, IMO.

His defense is better than Rolens already. Rolen is brittle. He's been forked.

    I couldn't help myself.

There's only one answer to that question.

Why do croutons come in airtight packages? It’s just stale bread.

It's the same guy who is clearly addicted to small sample sizes.

You know how in school the teacher always preached that there is no such thing as a stupid question?

Yeah, I never bought it either.

I actually agree with the teacher. I have no problem with this question.

I just don't understand the need to pile on a poster who asks a question you think isn't up to your standard. If it really isn't, then ignore it.

I think all of you are getting trolled a bit to easily.

The original poster is making this somewhat of a specialty. I would advise you not to feed him if you don't wish poor threads such as this to become a daily ritual for him.

    Just putting that out there.

I know Larry's reply is with tongue firmly in cheek. As for RedTruck starting all these threads...I can't say the same.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Maybe RedTruck should take a break from posting new topics in the ORG? Seriously, every thread he starts screams don't click on me.

"Is Jay Bruce one of the top 10 players in MLB when he's "hot"?"
"Are the Reds one of the best teams in the MLB right now?"
"Should Cozart be designated for assignment? "
"Is Votto comparable to Ruth, Mantle, Mays in terms of raw talent?"
"Is Choo equivalent to Votto in terms of talent?"
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.

If his posts are trolling then ban him.

Until then, most will treat them at face value.

My post is being taken out of context.

By "really hurting" I meant "really hurting opponents".

By "such a bad start" I meant "a start as bad as this, which is not bad at all".

By "now" I meant "now in this lifetime", as in "Walt can't address these issues when he is gone, so he must do it whole he is still here". It's a philosophical perspective.

By "lead" I meant "lead, the metal" as I believe the Cards will be sinking soon.

    I hope this clarifies things.
