Latos has a temper. Hopefully he's pro enough to apologise. But it would be easy for the boys to pack this one in after taking the first two, and I like the fact that latos isn't going to let that happen.

Latos has a reputation for showing emotion during the game.

He might be frustrated this season, he only has 4 wins, he should have more. Lot of tough games, some bullpen failure. Still . . . .

Reds have a good chance today, Harvey at 100 pitches, Reds may have a shot against the pen. But Mat needs to hold the fort.

Is anybody else not terribly impressed with Harvey. Sure he's young and he's been good, but there was SO much hype preceding him. Also have to take into account that his defense has made some nice plays and that Paul's shot to the edge of the track is gone in a lot of parks.

Mets have been playing good baseball the last two innings. We will have to step up.

Mets announcers point out that Latos' numbers get much worse third time through the order.

Dusty has a full bullpen today, day off tomorrow. Shouldn't be afraid to use the pen if Latos shows any sign of slipping.

Last 9 games, Reds starters have a 1.44 ERA according to Mets TV guys.

Double for Duda. I would get the pen ready.

Isn't that sort of true for every starting pitcher?

I'm guessing we're not catching him on a good day.

1 out double from Duda. Some really good swings off Latos that AB.

Agreed, no reason not to use the bullpen if it seems at all like we need it. Is anyone even up?

0-2 count on Byrd, c'mon Latos nothing too good.

Mes sets up outside, Latos comes in with it on a breaking pitch, foul ball.

    Latos, nothing too good.

Mets announcers now asking whether Latos will get mad at Bruce for not catching that.
