Are all of the Mets hits doubles thus far?

Byrd grounds out. Again Mes set up outside and I thought Latos got it a little close to the strike zone.

But a one hopper to Cozart.

    Ike Davis up.

Ground out to short. 2 down. Nice pitch.

Long fly for out and we get out of trouble. Now to the 7th.

    Davis flies deep to Choo.

Didn't like Latos' pitching that inning, I think he's gassed. I would go to the pen next inning. Good outing, enough.

I've been impressed with Choo's defense

Fly out to center. Some VERY hard hit balls that inning. I'd put Latos on a short leash from here on out.

Those Mets announcers sound like they can't come up with much good to say about their own team so they're doing everything they can to strum up some controversy for the Reds today. That's kind of pathetic IMO.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Latos missing up in the zone that inning....must be tiring.

Buck impresses me but no reason to groove one to Davis with first base open and the righthander on deck. Lucky.

Mets announcers made that point. But they read Latos' numbers and the drop off is pretty substantial. Mets announcers think more of a drop off than average.

In the pregame, Dusty said that the entire bullpen is available today. Use it now please.

Actually Darling has been complimenting the Reds for three days now. Said BP was one of his serious players. Loves the Red's seriousness. Mets announcers are pros.

I still remember Keith Hernandez bashing BP back in 06/07 for "having a bad attitude" and whenever something went poorly for the Reds he would say "...and that's why the Reds are in last place".

Hey Keith, how has the cellar been treating you guys the last several years?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
