Many, many, MANY things about that man are legendary. His first swing of the bat in KC...he hit the crown on top of the scoreboard. Picture that, the CROWN!

His diving catches that seemed to be made day in and day out. Even the simple reactions of snapping the bat over his knee or his HEAD, the guy simply did things on the field I'd never seen before.

Anytime I think of Bo, I immediately picture that running catch near the wall he made and followed it up by running UP the wall.

For those of you who never got to see this guy in action or who simply didn't pay attention, I highly suggest this 30 for 30 that ESPN did. Very well done and really makes you wonder..."what if".

He's havinq a bit of a down year so far, but I'd go after Willingham. Solid power and an OK OFer - I think the GAB could give him a bounce. His $7M (a season) price tag for this year (pro-rated) is very reasonable and his right-hand bat would fit nicely.

I'd consider Leake or Corcino or any minor league pitcher(s) not named Stephenson or Cingrani as the centerpiece and I'd fill it out with Heisey (if he's back) or Soto and a reliever.

After today, it's looking like the bullpen could use some upgrades.

If today was the only game I watched this season, I might agree.

Yeah but Bo was out because Billy Hamilton ran out from SS and scaled the crown to catch the ball.

Joel Sherman via MLBTR named Rios and Bautista two of the five most likely names to get traded this year. I'd be happy with either, especially assuming we didn't have to part with a major league starter or one of our top 4 minor leaguers (Hamilton, Winker, Cingrani and Stephenson.)

    Jesse Crain

A 36% O-Swing% on a fastball is pretty remarkable. To bring this full circle, hitters have a 33% O-Swing rate against Jonathan Papelbon’s fastball during the PITCHF/x era, and he’s dominated as a ninth inning ace by getting hitters to chase well located high fastballs. Papelbon still relies heavily on his fastball and his approach still works, but Crain appears to be learning how to emulate Papelbon’s biggest asset without relying on it to the same degree.

I also think Steve Cishek would be available but likely at a too-high-of-a-price Marlins' special.

If you could pick up Willingham and Shields, you could just go ahead and get the World Series shirts to the printer

Has Jurickson Profar made it onto this thread? Does he qualify as a possibility?

Raisor, who do you bump from the rotation if you acquire James Shields?
