Hanny gets the credit for that K.
No one expects the butterfly
Perfectly called slider there. Made Soriano look foolish.
K! And this one belongs to the Reds!
I didn't like the walk or the hit, but I flat out LOVED the pitch calling there. Kept the hitters totally off balance.
22 pitches, 6 sliders. Love the ratio. Hairston, a notorious FB hitter got the single on a FB. The 5 pitch walk to Castro...only batter he DIDN'T throw an off speed pitch to.

Wow - had him totally fooled on that one

We're still good!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Totally fooled. That one wasn't even close, but this one belongs to the Reds!
BTW, the Pirates game is Brewers-2, Pirates-1 in the bottom of the eighth.
2-1 Brewers over Pittsburgh, bottom of the 8th
0-0 top of the 2nd Cards at Dodgers
LOL - sorry Prof, was typing and didn't see you put up the score

30-18. Second best record in the NL.
Votto is .511 over his last 12 games, per RedsLIve. I've played slow-pitch softball before where most of the team couldn't hit .511 over 12 games.
Rounding third and heading for home...
The Reds are 15-5 in the month of May and have lost ground. Incredible.
