Good reads. I would like to see the BABIP discussion move a bit beyond the "pitchers have no control of batted balls" characterization though. Voros McCracken himself gets quite annoyed by it as he (and the core fo the analytical community) moved to the more nuanced understanding 5+ years ago.
But, by and large, it's a good summary written in a non-confrontational tone.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
