Cozart's just been unlucky.
The way the starters are going.... they Never need anyone to pitch the 6th. These guys are going 6-7 just about every time out.
I agree...that Logan can be over used which makes him look like a 1983-84 Tom Hume..... and Broxton has been shaky as well.... but you cannot tell me that either him or Sam cannot go 3 days in a row? Or even Chapman.
Logan had looked very sharp....and I am not surprised he went to him.
I think Simon is just as fine to use with a 3 run lead as well. It did not work this time and maybe now Dusty will curtail his workload and see if Simon can do it.
This all goes back to not wanting to use Chapman 3 days in a row. Is he that exhausted after 2 days of pitching? Hoover could have pitched the inning that Logan id instead if he is not so easily winded.
*grin*
That full count stat line for Votto is ridiculous.
Walk to Votto, and Phillips has his chance.
Votto walks. 1st and 2nd.

Cubs manager can see the wheels falling off.
Pitching change
Cozart did what he does best (pop up), and Votto did what he does best (besides hit) WALK. It's up to BP.
Well, the Kings of OBP have done their jobs. Can BP deliver yet again?
Rounding third and heading for home...
