    Thanks for the spelling lesson!

Yes. Dusty said before the game that he didn't want to use Chapman, Broxton OR LeCure. Hoover was the plan to close.

I'd use him when you're behind by 5 runs or maybe ahead by 5 runs but keep him on a short leash in the latter case. I'm not blaming Baker/Price, this is all on Logan who i think lacks the ability to pitch well when it counts.

Yep. I've got very little confidence in any of them anymore. Marshall is a big loss, Broxton seems interminably shaky and Chapman is feast or famine these days. Everyone else is pretty much subpar. Only LeCure seems to be delivering on expectations.

Now Parra....I vote him as "inept".
He's going to fail miserably about once every three times they send him out there. Tired of seeing his 96mph "straightball" dead center of the zone get knocked around. This is the third or fourth time this season he's given up multiple runs IIRC. Most frustrating guy on the roster for me.
Rounding third and heading for home...

So how come you didn't see Parra warming up at the start of the inning?

12-2 in their last 14. I'll take 12-3, worst case scenario, any day.

Ondrusek has pitched well. That said, Dusty is using him too often, especially in high leverage situations.

Logan just isn't that good. I would rather have seen Hoover pitch there, he's underused of late and can be more effective.

It would seem that Dusty did not want to use Brox and Chapman today, both have worked the first two games. But Logan has 18 appearances after today despite being at AA for several weeks. Too much for Ondrusek.

Logan just wasn't a good choice for today and it cost the Reds. Tough game.
