Yep, plus with the limited bullpen you've almost GOT to hang onto a long man just in case. That's Simon.

LOL. He was trying to end it there. Big cuts there. Lutz K's. Fujikawa is not easy.

Completely agree. But I wouldn't have complained. Simon has been surprisingly effective. In a 4-1 game, eighth inning, I'd have preferred Simon this time.

Just feel Dusty went to the well with Ondrusek too often in meaningful spots. As I've said.

This is the 1st time Fujikawa has pitched more than one inning

I follow the logic, but still wondering how the pen gets in that condition with the starters almost literally giving a dynamic start every single day. This unavailable to pitch thing seems unusually frequent for a team getting the starts they are getting.

Choo could have walked by now if he wasn't swinging at those sliders in the dirt.

Timing of injuries is part of it. And going to the well with the same arms several days in a row instead of spreading out the innings a bit more.

It's getting too dependent upon the LeCure/Broxton/Chapman combo. Break that up some and the problem goes away.
