Groundball to his left, he shortarmed it wanting to spin quickly to get the lead runner...ball hit off the end of his glove and trickled into right. Simply put, he took his eye off it.
Think he just peeked a little bit and pulled his glove up. Probably looking to make the play at 2nd and just got in hurry.
