Bruce on pace for 25 HR and 100 RBI, while having no peers as a defensive RFer, but some of you guys talk about him like he's garbage. I'll never understand that.

I seriously just looked it up and was really disappointed to find out the same. It would be perfect.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Choo's double was closer to being a HR than BP's play at first was an out.

Did Drew get booed at all yesterday when he hit? This crowd seems pretty ambivalent.

There's the Stubbs we've loved to gripe about.

I've accepted that he's probably never going to change. He is what he is. But I think what BluegrassRedleg said is correct: he guesses a lot and makes up his mind he's going to swing before the pitch is delivered. Doesn't mean I have to like it though.

He'll finish with really good numbers and, seemingly at equal rates, frustrate and thrill me.

Like Norm said, he is what he is.
Rounding third and heading for home...
