Alright! Single on a 2-0 pitch for 2 runs! And the score is now 3-0.

"I talked to an advance scout that told me if Joey Votto and Albert Pujols were on the same team he'd advise his team to do the unthinkable...pitch around Votto to get to Pujols." - Buster Olney, ESPN

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Take note Mr. Bruce. It is possible to shorten your swing.

A bleeder that was deserving for the Reds.

Makes up for the bad luck on the Phillips hit.

What's the stat now on games where Paul starts? It was something crazy like 16-1, but I'm pretty sure that it's changed.

This guy is a lousy pitcher. Poor control, serving up 91mph fastballs with no movement...
I may not be fast, but I sure am slow.

Did I hear at the top of the broadcast that three runs is the most this pitcher has given up in any game all year?

His ERA must reflect the poor AL batters.

We can only hope that he's still the starter (at least against RHP) when Heisey returns.
