If you asked me what I thought of Casey as an announcer....I'd say that he is an amazing athlete.

Although I was making more of a point overall. Just like last year, the Pirates record is way better than the stats show. They are better than last year though. A blind man could see that last year (for the first 3/4 of the season) they were insanely lucky.
Yeah I get what you're saying. If it is luck it will catch up with them again this season.

He wouldn't be so bad if he didn't laugh at his own jokes. Especially since they are not funny.

Cueto could have a no-hitter through 7. The pitch to Inge before his single was clearly strike three. And the pitch before that could have easily been called a strike too.

Did this man EAT David Wells?

Or maybe a random fan selected out of the stands. The beer belly is actually kinda impressive. :O)

Yeah, but Inge sure hit the bleep out of the ball for that single.

This Zagurski kid looks like a baby ox.

Got a little lucky with that bad throw. Terrible jump.

First steal of the season... about time!

That said, he doesn't look like that's a reasonable part of his skill set anymore. Ah well.

Base hit makes it runners on the corners now, with nobody out.

When he got hit, Brandon thought about storming the mound. He quickly realized how that would end.

Bruce goes oppo. Single to left. 1st & 3rd with no outs. That'll work.

Nice piece of hitting by Bruce. First and third, no outs for Frazier.
